Join me in my video essay on medieval Europe and the agency of women and sapphics during the time period, through looking at the story of Yde et Olive. I will be talking about how gender, religion, attitudes toward homosexuality, the lack of attention toward female sexuality, and genre, all come together in Yde et Olive to hinder Yde and Olive’s Agency.
